Mountain Bike Shop based in the IHub Outdoor Activities and Information Center, Twizel The new Twizel Mountain Bike Shop is located in the new Twizel iHUB Outdoor Activity and Information Centre next to Poppy's Cafe. We are the only mountain bike shop in this part of New Zealand, covering Twizel, Tekapo, Ohau and Omarama. We hold a selection of emergency bike parts and accessories and have some basic MTB clothing and equipment. The stock levels are growing in response to your needs and feedback.

Discovery Tours Outdoor clothing, booking and Information Cente at the IHub Outdoor Activities and Information Center, Twizel Our mountain bike shop shares a huge retail space with Discovery Tours and Helibike.com. We have a full outdoor activities and information centre staffed by experienced Information Centre staff, many of whom are keen local mountain bikers. Consequently, pop in for some local information on MTB trails, the weather forecast or simply to chat about bikes. We'd advise getting the locals version of the weather forecast as the weather here can vary dramatically from lake to lake or even depending on the side of the lake you are intending to ride along. We can also highly recommend the coffee at Poppy's Cafe next door!

We have a range of mountain bikes for hire. Our Hire bikes can be rented by the hour or the day. All bikes come with a helmet, puncture repair kit and local map, if required.
