The Howes Cycles Sherwood Enduro Mountain Bike Race & Recreational Ride (February)

A February event split into a choice of three great mountain bike rides :

  1. "Howes Cycles Sherwood Fifty MTB " a 50km endurance ride for the elite rider.
  2. "Sherwood Enduro Thirty MTB" for the fit mountain biker

Benmore Challenge (January tbc)

This was an annual Downhill Helibike race held from the Summit of Mt Benmore near Twizel. After a few years in mothballs, the new owners resurrected the event only to be thwarted by land access issues and then poor weather. Watch this space for more information...
