Mountain Bike Mt Cook is dedicated to providing comprehensive information on the mountain biking in and around the Aoraki/Mount Cook Region (the Mackenzie Region) in Canterbury, New Zealand. We cover the area around Aoraki mount Cook and Lake Pukaki which includes Tekapo to the north and Twizel and Ohau to the south:
As local mountain biking experts, we have maps and local information on the mountain bike trails available in each area, we are able to book a wide range of organised mountain bike tours, from Helibiking to guided cross country rides, and we even have bikes for hire.
There is some great downhill mountain biking in this region, we have several high profile mountain bike races and events throughout the year and we're setting up a mountain bike shop in Twizel so that breaking your bike or forgetting your kit no longer ruins your holiday.
